Red Lights (Stop Immediately)
Engine Oil Pressure
Oil isn’t flowing properly. Pull over, switch off, check level, and call for assistance if the lamp stays on.
Engine Coolant Overheat
Temperature too high. Stop the car, let the engine cool, and top up coolant only when safe.
Brake System Fault
Hydraulic failure or low fluid. Park safely, avoid further driving, and arrange towing.
Battery Charge
Alternator not charging. Turn off non-essential electrics and head to a workshop promptly.
Power Steering Failure
Electric steering lost. Steering feels heavy; stop soon and request repair.
Airbag / SRS
Airbag system disabled. Do not drive far; have the system inspected at once.
Seatbelt Reminder
Driver or passenger belt unfastened. Buckle up immediately.
Door / Tailgate Ajar
A door or boot is open. Stop and close all openings securely.
Handbrake Engaged
Parking brake still on while moving. Release fully to avoid brake damage.
ABS & Brake Fault Together
ABS plus red brake icon lit indicates serious braking issue. Stop and seek help.
Multifunction “STOP”
Critical electronic malfunction. Pull over, cut the engine, and call roadside aid.
Transmission Overheat
Automatic gearbox overheating. Stop, select P, let it cool; tow if light remains.
DPF Overload (flashing red)
Diesel particulate filter blocked. Cease driving to prevent engine damage.
Engine Safe Mode (limp)
Red engine icon with reduced power. Major engine fault; stop immediately.
Collision Hazard / Emergency Brake
Critical braking system fault detected. Pull over and call a technician.
Yellow / Amber Lights (Action Required Soon)
ESP / Traction Control
Stability system off or faulty. Drive carefully on slippery roads; inspect promptly.
Tyre Pressure
One or more tyres low. Inflate to spec, reset system, and check for punctures.
Glow Plug (diesel)
Pre-heater fault if flashing while driving. Engine may lose power; arrange repair.
Fuel Filter Water
Water detected in diesel filter. Drain the filter soon to avoid damage.
Diesel Particulate Filter
Filter filling up. Take a 20-minute highway run to regenerate.
Low Fuel
Approx. 50 km range left. Refuel promptly.
Service Reminder
Scheduled maintenance due. Book a workshop visit.
Brake Pad Wear
Pads thin. Plan a brake service soon.
Automatic Gearbox Fault
Limited gears available. Keep speed moderate and see a transmission specialist.
Lane Departure
System switched off or faulty. Reactivate or have it serviced as needed.
AdBlue Low
Urea level low. Refill to avoid a no-start lockout.
Green Lights (Information Only)
Indicators (Left / Right)

Dipped Headlights

Main Beam

Front Fog Lights
Front fog lamps on in poor visibility.
Rear Fog Light
Rear fog lamp active; use only in thick fog.
Sidelights / DRL
Daytime running or sidelights on.
Cruise Control
Speed maintained automatically; brake or cancel to deactivate.
Speed Limiter
Car will not exceed the set speed unless you fully press the throttle.
ECO Mode
