Red Lights (Stop Immediately)
Brake System

Hydraulic failure or fluid low. Pull over, do not continue, and seek professional repair at once.
Electric Parking Brake Engaged

Car is trying to move with EPB on. Stop, release brake fully, or visit service if light stays on.
Brake Fluid Low

Reservoir below minimum level. Add approved fluid or call a mechanic before further driving.
Seatbelt Reminder

A seat is occupied without the belt latched. Stop, buckle up, and resume only when all belts click.
SRS Airbag Fault

Airbag or pretensioner malfunction. Stop soon and have the restraint system inspected immediately.
Engine Oil Pressure

Oil flow has dropped. Shut off engine, check level, top up if low, and tow to service if light remains.
Engine Coolant Overheat

Temperature has exceeded safe limit. Park, switch off, let engine cool, and call for assistance.
Battery/Charging Fault

Alternator or battery not charging. Switch off non-essentials and drive to a workshop or arrange a tow.
Power Steering Failure

Electric assist lost. Steering is heavy; stop safely and request service before continuing.
Door Ajar

One or more doors open while moving. Stop and close all latches firmly before setting off.
Trunk Ajar

Boot lid not fully latched. Pull over and secure trunk to prevent cargo loss.
Hood Ajar

Bonnet unlatched; may fly up. Stop immediately and close hood completely.
Transmission Overheat

Fluid too hot. Shift to Park, idle to cool, and seek inspection; heavy loads may require a tow.
Master Warning (red)

Critical fault stored. Stop as soon as safe and read the multi-information display for details.
Security/Immobilizer Solid

Anti-theft fault; engine may not start. Use correct key and have system checked if symbol remains steady.
Yellow/Amber Lights (Action Required Soon)
ABS Malfunction

Anti-lock system disabled; normal brakes still work. Drive cautiously and book service promptly.
Traction Control OFF
